Birth-day Workshop

This is a one-day workshop for mothers-to-be and their birth partners. It is a great way for expectant fathers or any other birth partners to have an opportunity to learn about what is going to be happening during labour, and what might be expected of them.

There has been a total reversal in father's roles during birth over the past two generations, and it is now almost the norm for dads to be at the birth of their children. This is wonderful, but very often fathers do not know what to expect, or what is expected of them. Through this ever-popular workshop many of these issues are addressed. Topics covered include:

• Stages of Labour

• Hormones

• Active Birth
